We give you the skills to take your surfing in to the big waves

Surfing is one of the most healthy sports you can do. A full body workout and absolutely great craic on your own or with a couple friends.

Unleash your inner waterman and learn to ride the waves in Co. Wexford.

The Lesson

  • Join one of our lessons that operate daily in Curracloe.
  • We build your skills from the ground up and after a lesson with us you will be capable of surfing safely by yourself. 
  • Choose from a variety of lessons. Adult, Kids, family lessons and birthday parties.
  • Learn how to read the surf charts (wind, swell, tide, wave formation), get the basics on your board, rock out on the waves.
  • Groups of 8 so you get constant quality instruction.
  • 13 years of coaching experience introducing people to surfing in Co.Wexford
  • We do shallow water teaching for beginners so you can always stand comfortably.

Curracloe’s surf is perfect for beginners so we will have you riding your first wave in no time. It is safe to swim at all tides. Saving Private Ryan was also shot on these sands.

Group Surf Lessons (from €40)

  • Join one of our public surf lessons that run daily in Curracloe.
  • You can join as an individual or as part of a larger group. If you have 3 or more people we can run your own time.
  • Great for individuals , couples and small groups.
  • Beginner friendly.

I had a fantastic private surf lesson today with Harry. He was patient, clear, and really took the time to guide me through everything in order. The conditions were perfect — calm, consistent waves and beautiful weather. The gear was excellent and so warm that I could have stayed in the water for hours! As an adult learner, this time of year is ideal — the beach was quiet, and the waves were just right for building confidence. Although I’ve surfed before, I needed a solid refresher, and with Harry’s advice I was back up on the board in no time. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Great experience with great people Our six-year-old did a 3-day surf camp with these guys in Curracloe in August and he loved every minute of it. The group was pretty big, about 14 kids ranging age from 6 to 12 or 13. The teachers were all super friendly and very thorough in their instruction. The weather wasn't the best and the water was freezing, but the atmosphere was great and he had a ball. Managed to stand up and ride his first wave on day three!

My son Ollie  did  a two day camp in the surf shack with his cousins he had a blast and said it was the best camp he ever did !! Harry was his instructor and I couldn’t be happier he was amazing with the kids. He is such a great teacher and so friendly with Ollie .
