About The Surf Shack
Established in summer 2013 – with just seven surfboards and 20 wetsuits – The Surf Shack opened on June 29th by a stoked group of friends wanting to share surfing with Co.Wexford. Located at White Gap along the idyllic Curracloe coastline (filming location for Speilberg’s war epic “Saving Private Ryan”) we offer surf lessons for both adults and kids of all abilities.
Along with this we do SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) lessons and tours, Sandboarding and a load of fun activities on the beach including Teambuilding and beach games.
We even have our own Surf Shop and Surf Café right on the beach! “Coffee Break” offers up the best fairtrade coffee in Co.Wexford along with stonebaked Italien Pizza and the best local Ice Cream. So you can chill out and enjoy your time. The surf shop stocks Wexford’s largest suply of wetsuits and surf hardware & accessories including a full clothing line. We are also the only shop in Ireland that stocks a full range of sandboards!
We can facilitate large groups including corporate days and teambuilding sessions as well as private & small group lessons too! “Get Shacked” at Curracloe Beach!
Located at The Winning Post on one of Irelands finest blue flag beaches… Curracloe beach. Heading south on the N11, we are only 1hr 30 from Dublin and 10mins from Wexford.
Thanks also to Wexford County Council as we have the “Hippocampe Beach Wheelchair” available to book for free from The Surf Shack. Be sure to contact us however to check availability & to book.
